About this opportunity
Our team in Laredo is actively looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team! This role encompasses responsibilities such as overseeing inventory management, supervising personnel, coordinating shipments, and maintaining streamlined operations within the warehouse. The ideal candidate for this position should demonstrate robust leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail to excel in fulfilling their duties.
Pay and Schedule
This position is Monday – Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm. Pay will depend on experience.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?
- Supervise the receiving, storing, and organizing of inventory within the warehouse.
- Implement inventory control measures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits to monitor inventory levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and efficiency.
- Foster a positive work environment and resolve any personnel issues or conflicts as they arise.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and workflows to optimize productivity.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and shipping, to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor product quality and condition and take appropriate actions to address any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address quality-related issues and implement corrective measures.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as productivity, accuracy, and throughput.
- Generate reports and provide insights to management on key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse performance and achieve operational goals.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential risks or violations promptly.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Upkeep warehouse to fulfill CTPAT regulations and requirements.

- Forklift certification and other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of AS400 (preferred).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar management role.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
