Scope of Responsibility:

As the Sr. Manager of EHS reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, you will lead thestrategic vision and execution of all environmental, health, and safety programs for thefacility. You will be the primary owner of regulatory compliance, ensuring the site meetsor exceeds all federal, state, and local standards while protecting the well-being ofemployees, the community, and the environment. This is a pivotal leadershipopportunity to drive continuous improvement in safety performance and carbon footprintreduction through innovative project design and world-class EHS management systems

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct all aspects of plant safety and environmental programs, ensuring 100%compliance with OSHA, EPA, and corporate standards while serving as theprimary liaison with government agencies
  • Lead a technical EHS team, including Coordinators and Interns, providing effective career development, coaching, and accountability for site-wide safety goals
  • Own the design and implementation of EHS-related capital projects, identifying opportunities for energy optimization and environmental exposure reduction
  • Drive the site’s Emergency Preparedness and risk management strategies, ensuring plan integrity and leading all internal and external inspections and audits
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Leadership Team to integrate EHS initiatives into the plant’s broader mission, ensuring safety and quality standards are modeled by all personnel
  • Direct the development and management of the EHS departmental budget, aligning fiscal goals with long-term site reliability and sustainability objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience;
  • 5+ years of experience in an Environmental or Occupational Health & Safety field (For external candidates)
  • Expert understanding of OSHA and EPA standards
  • Ability to routinely climb 3+ flights of stairs, work from heights up to 120 ft, and liftup to 50 lbs

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, safety, environmental and/or engineering or related field
  • Experience in project management and leading project initiatives
  • Certified Safety or Industrial Hygiene professional certification
  • Experience in development and/or delivery of training
  • A thorough understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental Standards and Guidelines


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
