Job Description

 

The Sr Analytics Manager will be responsible for driving the enterprise reporting strategy using PowerBI, providing analytics support across all departments, with a particular focus on marketing. This leader will harness the power of data to inform decision-making and foster data-driven strategies throughout the organization. The successful candidate will be an expert in data analytics, possess strong leadership skills, and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the insurance landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and management of the enterprise reporting infrastructure using PowerBI, ensuring scalability and effectiveness across all departments.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to assess their data needs, implement tailored reporting solutions, and drive business insights.
  • Provide focused analytics support for the marketing team, leveraging data to optimize strategies and enhance customer experiences.
  • Develop and sustain an organizational analytics strategy that aligns with business objectives and priorities.
  • Partner with data engineering and IT teams to guarantee data accuracy, integration, and accessibility within reporting systems.
  • Establish and uphold best practices for data visualization, empowering users to make informed decisions based on clear and compelling data insights.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify industry trends, customer behavior patterns, and growth opportunities.
  • Communicate analytics findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Continuously explore and integrate new analytics methodologies and industry advancements to keep the organization at the forefront of data-driven decision-making.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ Years of experience in analytics and reporting.
  • 3+ Years managing individuals and teams.
  • 2+ Years of experience within the insurance sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in using PowerBI for enterprise-wide reporting solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a capacity to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
  • A track record of effective leadership, team development, and fostering an analytics-driven culture.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in stakeholder engagement and influence.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and championing change.

 

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative discipline, such as data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or economics.
  • Proficient in cloud computing platforms like Azure and Databricks
