Viacom International Services Inc. dba Paramount Skydance seeks Sr. Manager Application Development in New York, NY. * Ensure the health of the technical landscape in terms of system reliability, availability, and continuity. * Serve as the first level line senior manager of a business-critical development team and manage the day-to-day operations for developers tasked with supporting and enhancing business systems through the application life cycle, following internal policies, processes, and industry best practices. * Collaborate closely with the application functional teams to ensure successful day-to-day operations, which may include daily meetings, building and following technical roadmaps, planning the introduction of new technologies, reporting progress and communicating to various stakeholder levels including key executives. * Often partner with business stakeholders to design system capability to meet the changing needs of business demands in the media industry.Must have a Bachelors Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related IT field. Must have 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Developer, Lead Developer, or a related Developer role. The 2 years of experience must include experience with: * Sales and Traffic systems supporting linear broadcast playout, including budgeting, ratings, deal planning, scheduling, trafficking, billing, stewardship, system integrations, and reporting; * Agile team environment building enterprise software for multi-billion-dollar revenue systems; * Managing applications technical support; * Managing production applications including change management, resiliency, availability, and continuity; * C#; * SQL Server writing and maintaining complex queries; * AngularJS; * .net framework; * Azure DevOps build and release pipelines; * queuing, wcf and integration technologies. Must have managed application development teams. Position is headquartered in New York, NY but eligible to work from anywhere in the U.S. $148,450- $149,450 per year.
