In the centralized Workflow Solutions team, our mission is to provide quality and timely workflow support to our service teams and our Advisors.

The Workflow Solutions Senior Manager (PL) is primarily focused on leading a team of high performing individuals in providing quality workflow support, while continually looking to optimize and make our workflows more efficient. Influencing the team to focus on quality and consistency, while partnering with other departments in optimizing workflows is critical for the success of our organization.

You will lead a cross-site team to ensure all operational workflows within the service organization are executed with high quality and within established service level agreements (SLAs). This includes developing and delivering a quality-focused coaching program, identifying workflow trends to inform training opportunities, and partnering with leaders across Operational Services to align business goals and enhance the advisor experience. In this role, you will make timely decisions on not-in-good-order work while balancing risk, monitor capacity to drive efficiency, and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce hands-off as work transitions to centers of excellence. You will maintain open communication across the Advisor Services organization, proactively sharing updates on service levels and recovery plans, while collaborating with internal leadership to stay ahead of business changes that may impact advisors. Additionally, you will foster an approachable and professional team environment, demonstrate expertise in Schwab's digital tools to encourage adoption and scalability, and partner with peer managers to ensure consistent alignment on departmental objectives.

  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching employees to exceed performance standards
  • Strong focus on employee engagement by maximizing strengths and creating a dynamic team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing priorities within established deadlines
  • Superior communication, presentation, interpersonal and listening skills
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm towards teamwork and the "One Schwab" mentality across all business units
  • Capability to balance risk and the ease of doing business with our clients when making workflow decisions
  • Champion of change and ideation to reduce waste and hand-offs to make processes more efficient
  • FINRA Series 7, 63, 9 and 10 licenses required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of myQ and operational reporting as it relates to the AS operational platform
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in Advisor Services or operations
