Perform senior-level commercial carpentry work, including remodeling, restoration, alteration, refurbishment, and new construction of interior and exterior structures.
Analyze drawings and specifications, prepare sites, protect surfaces, and remove fixtures before repairs or painting.
Assist with installing and finishing woodwork, trim, cabinetry, ceilings, and fixtures, as well as roof maintenance and hardware repairs.
Use hand and power tools to shape materials, assemble frameworks, and fit prefabricated components.
Apply surface treatments like paint, stain, and sealants, and perform measurements and calculations for project accuracy.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid California driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience includes at least two years of senior-level commercial construction work or completion of relevant trade classes with supervised training plus three years of experience.
