Sr. Logistics Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Support Sr. Specialist to support warehouse and deployment operations involving aerial aircraft targets (BQM-167, MQM-178 and MQM-185B), mission-critical equipment and controlled materials. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and ammunition accountability, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee ammunition management, including storage, handling, tracking and accountability in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate deployment logistics, ensuring the accurate and timely movement of mission-critical equipment and munitions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain operational efficiency and meet mission timelines
  • Execute purchasing processes and maintain stock control to ensure operational readiness
  • Prepare and process shipments in accordance with military, hazardous materials (HAZMAT), and carrier requirements
  • Utilize inventory management systems (Maximo) to track materials and transactions
  • Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies, particularly for controlled and hazardous materials
  • Provide support and response to any email and phone call directives/queries from the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) in a timely and consistent manner

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience OR an additional 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Proven experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain support, or munitions handling
  • Demonstrated experience with ammunition management and accountability procedures
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems (Maximo) and stock control practices
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Forklift certification or prior experience operating material handling equipment
  • Experience with ERP systems (Maximo)
  • Knowledge of HAZMAT handling, packaging, and shipping requirements
  • Familiarity with munitions storage regulations and safety protocols
