Job Details

We seek an Associate Attorney with 5–10+ years of complex litigation experience Ideally, business, employment, and real estate litigation. You will take on significant responsibility early, working closely with partners, clients, and co‑counsel on cases that demand excellent judgment, writing, and advocacy skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage case strategy and day‑to‑day litigation across business, employment, and real estate matters (state and federal).
  • Draft and argue motions; prepare pleadings; conduct and defend depositions; oversee written and e‑discovery.
  • Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials; support appellate briefing as needed.
  • Partner with clients on risk assessment, case evaluation, and settlement strategy.
  • Collaborate with a tight‑knit team of litigators; mentor junior team members where appropriate.
  • Uphold firm standards for professionalism, responsiveness, and client service.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from a top law school or a strong academic record (e.g., top of class).
  • 5–10+ years of substantive complex litigation experience.
  • Admission to the Minnesota bar (required).
  • Additional state licensure appreciated (we represent clients in matters across the U.S.).
  • Exceptional legal writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills; comfort with complex fact patterns and discovery.
  • Thrives in a high‑energy, fully onsite environment; reliable, organized, and team‑oriented.
