Experience digging in and resolving middleware problems and collaborating with downstream teams
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot (must-have)
Proven experience in designing and developing backend applications and microservices (not just supporting or troubleshooting)
Experience building REST APIs and business logic for high-transaction systems (payments, banking, trading, etc.)
Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and application architecture
Proven experience in performance engineering within distributed systems
Hands-on experience with application performance monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Splunk, etc.)
Experience analyzing end-to-end system performance using logs, metrics, and distributed tracing
Strong experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
Hands-on experience troubleshooting production issues across application, middleware, and cloud layers
Experience working with AWS cloud services and PCF
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes )
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems behavior
