Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 10–15 years of experience building enterprise-grade, server-side applications. The role involves hands-on development of Java APIs within a service-oriented architecture, collaborating with global teams, and supporting large-scale web applications that supply data to eTrade.com.

Must Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on Java (J2EE) experience with multithreading

• Spring / Spring Boot and MVC frameworks

• API and RESTful web services development

• Agile/Scrum experience in global teams

• Web application development experience

• Strong communication and enterprise-level collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

• Financial services domain experience

• DB2 / IBM UDB, IBM MQ

• GIT, TeamCity

• Application servers: Tomcat, WebSphere

• Unix/Linux environment

• Frontend exposure: JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML5

• Strong design skills (Design Patterns, GOF)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and articulation

• Ability to mentor junior developers

• Collaborative, proactive, and innovation-driven
