Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Sr. iOS Developer for a Contract with a client in Morrisville, NC. The ideal candidate with experience designing, developing, and delivering high-performance mobile applications while ensuring exceptional user experience, application quality, and platform scalability.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. iOS Developer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift, iOS SDKs, UIKit, and SwiftUI frameworks.

  • Implement scalable mobile architecture such as MVVM and Clean Architecture while ensuring application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Integrate and consume RESTful APIs, manage networking layers, and ensure secure and efficient data handling within mobile applications.

  • Develop and execute unit, UI, and automated tests using XCTest and XCUITest to ensure application quality and stability.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional development teams to deliver intuitive and user-centric mobile experiences.

  • Support CI/CD pipelines, App Store releases, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the iOS application lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mobile Application Development, or a related technical field.

  • 8-10 years of experience in iOS application development, mobile software engineering, and enterprise mobile application delivery.

  • Strong expertise in Swift, iOS SDKs, UIKit, SwiftUI, MVVM/Clean Architecture, multithreading, memory management, and mobile application lifecycle management.

  • Proven experience with REST API integrations, XCTest/XCUITest, CI/CD pipelines, App Store releases, performance optimization, debugging, and delivering scalable, high-quality iOS applications.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
