Position Summary:

The Sr. Human Resources Specialist provides comprehensive support in staffing, certifications, workflow management, onboarding, records administration, and data integrity for all employees. This role serves as a key resource for management and employees, consulting to identify, evaluate, and resolve employee-related issues while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

What You'll Be Doing: (Responsibilities)

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure alignment with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
• Support documentation, audits, and required reporting.
• Monitor internal staffing practices and systems to maintain ongoing compliance.

• Oversee personnel transactions in the HRIS system.
• Support staffing processes across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
• Oversee pre-employment process and ensures staffing actions align with policy and operational needs.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring workflows and ensure timely onboarding.

• Provide operational guidance and support to HR Specialists.
• Assist with documentation and workflow management to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Coordinate and support special projects and initiatives.

• Process and respond to HR inquiries received via phone, email, providing timely and professional support to all stakeholders.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of customer service across HR.
• Serve a resource for cross-team coordination and contribute to process improvement efforts.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years HR related experience.
• Working knowledge of general HR practices.

• Minimum of five (5) years HR related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to handle fast paced, high volume workload.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills
