Senior HR Technology Program Manager
Position Summary
CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Senior HR Technology Program Manager to lead strategic HR technology and business transformation initiatives across North America. This role will be responsible for driving complex, enterprise-wide programs including payroll transformation, HR technology modernization, process optimization, and critical HR systems initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to HR, Payroll, IT, and business leadership teams, ensuring programs are aligned to business objectives while balancing operational continuity, employee experience, compliance requirements, and long-term technology strategy.
This position requires a strong blend of program management expertise, HR systems knowledge, business acumen, and stakeholder leadership. The ideal candidate understands both the business and technical aspects of HR technology ecosystems and can successfully navigate complex environments across regional and global organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership
- Lead large-scale HR technology and business transformation programs from strategy through execution.
- Develop program roadmaps, implementation plans, governance structures, and executive reporting frameworks.
- Establish and maintain program governance, risk management, issue management, and delivery oversight processes.
- Drive alignment across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, Operations, and external partners.
- Ensure successful delivery of programs while balancing competing priorities, resources, and business needs.
Payroll Transformation & Optimization
- Lead payroll transformation, modernization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and technology teams to define future-state processes and operating models.
- Support technology evaluations, implementation planning, and vendor selection activities.
- Ensure operational readiness and business continuity throughout program execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, controls, and employee experience.
HR Technology Portfolio Management
- Manage a portfolio of strategic HR technology initiatives across North America.
- Partner with HRIS leadership to align regional priorities with global technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Oversee project planning, execution, resource coordination, dependency management, and delivery tracking.
- Drive successful execution across platforms including SAP, SuccessFactors, payroll systems, time management solutions, and related HR applications.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
Business Process Transformation
- Lead initiatives focused on improving HR processes, employee lifecycle management, data quality, automation, and operational effectiveness.
- Assess impacts of organizational and business changes on HR processes, systems, and operations.
- Develop implementation and transition plans that minimize disruption and support sustainable adoption.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve overall service delivery.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage implementation partners, consulting firms, and software vendors.
- Lead RFP activities, vendor evaluations, contract discussions, and implementation governance.
- Establish accountability measures and performance expectations for external partners.
- Ensure vendors deliver against agreed commitments, timelines, and quality standards.
Stakeholder & Change Leadership
- Build strong partnerships with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and functional teams.
- Facilitate executive decision-making, steering committee meetings, and governance forums.
- Lead communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational change activities for major initiatives.
- Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority to achieve program objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required.
- 10+ years of experience leading complex enterprise technology or business transformation programs.
- 7+ years of experience supporting HR, Payroll, HRIS, or Human Capital Management systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale payroll, HR technology, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and programs within a complex environment.
- Experience managing external consulting firms, software vendors, and implementation partners.
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to establish governance, manage risks, and drive successful delivery across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP HCM, SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors Employee Central, Recruiting, Time Management, UKG, or related HR technologies.
- Experience supporting global or multi-country HR technology environments.
- Knowledge of HR data integrations, reporting, enterprise systems, and technology architecture concepts.
- Experience within logistics, transportation, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly complex operational environments.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Agile, Scrum, Prosci, or other change management certifications preferred.
