Job Title: Senior Health Care Analyst


Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Health Care Analyst to support Medicare Pharmacy operations. This role is responsible for leading data-driven initiatives, analyzing large pharmacy datasets, and delivering actionable insights to improve operational performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, experience with Medicare pharmacy data, and the ability to translate complex analytics into business solutions.

Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $46–$51/hour
Contract Duration: 12 months (07/06/2026 – 07/06/2027)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large pharmacy datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics using SAS, SQL, and other tools
  • Support Medicare Part D reporting and assist with dashboard development on SharePoint
  • Partner with business teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations
  • Conduct research and analysis to evaluate business performance and identify root causes of issues
  • Present findings and insights to leadership through reports and presentations
  • Support audit and analytics initiatives for Medicare pharmacy services
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and objectives are met
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, healthcare analytics, financial analysis, or related field
  • Strong experience with SAS and SQL for reporting and data analysis
  • Experience working withlarge datasets, specifically pharmacy or healthcare data
  • Hands-on experience with Medicare pharmacy data
  • Knowledge of PBM systems and tools
  • Experience building reports and dashboards (SharePoint preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for data analytics and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Medicare Part D dashboards and reporting
  • Background in healthcare analytics or health economics
  • Familiarity with corporate healthcare environments, provider networks, and operational structures
  • Experience leading projects and managing cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to identify process improvements and implement scalable solutions

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Relevant certifications or progress toward certification is a plus
