We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to act as the financial backbone of our North American Transportation Operations. In this role, you won't just be balancing books-you will be partnering directly with logistics leaders, optimizing millions in freight spend, and using data to shape the future of our supply chain. If you are a finance professional who loves problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and seeing the real-world impact of your work, we want you on our team.

What you'll do

  • Financial Management & Month-End: Owns the budgeting and planning process for the Transportation Operations Team. Manages the month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Freight & Vendor Operations: Manages the relationship with the third-party freight payments processor to ensure timely vendor payments. Collaborates across departments to resolve invoicing issues for domestic and international shipments, and maintains freight standards in SAP.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensures adherence to SOX compliance and Colgate Audit Department (CAD) internal financial controls, including testing and cooperating with external auditors.
  • Reporting & Support: Partners with the Analytics Team to build new financial reports that support network development. Guides the operations team on purchase order (PO) creation and payments, and assists with on-site inventory counts as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 4+ years in corporate Finance or Accounting roles
  • Hands-on experience with SAP/large ERP systems
  • Advanced user knowledge in Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA and/or MAC
  • Prior experience of DOMO, Sigma or BI/BW/Power BI
  • Knowledge of Google Sheets is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $106,400.00 - $155,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
