This role is geographically flexible, but will require travel to HDT facilities as needed.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and analysis and will be an active member of the finance leadership team
Performs financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling
Collaborates with Senior Leadership and business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management
Facilitates financial review meetings with business groups
Works closely with the business managers to drive costs efficiencies and optimize free cashflows
Manages the financial planning and analysis effort, using the key input levers to the business
Develops ad hoc business analysis and presents recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives
Establishes and maintains operating and business metrics
Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:
BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required, MBA or CPA a plus
7-10 years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of general accounting and GAAP
Government or defense industry knowledge a plus
Knowledge and proficiency in SAP and OneStream preferred
Advanced Excel skills required
Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to set/meet goals
This position requires access to or use of export-controlled technical data or technology controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
