The ideal candidate is a rigorous analytical thinker who is equally comfortable building complex models from scratch and translating results into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and take pride in bringing structure and clarity to complex problems.
You will report to our Senior Director of Corporate FP&A., and ideal candidates reside on the West Coast.
You Will
- Own and maintain the company's top-line revenue model, including ARR, billings, churn, and expansion drivers
- Serve as a deep subject matter expert on core SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, churn, expansion, LTV/CAC); go beyond reporting the numbers to understand and articulate what is driving results and what they mean for the business
- Lead the company-wide long-range planning (LRP) process, partnering with FP&A, strategy, and executive leadership to develop and maintain a flexible, multi-scenario financial model
- Drive alignment between LRP, annual operating plan, and rolling forecast assumptions
- Identify and surface key model sensitivities to help leadership prioritize investments and trade-offs
- Own reporting and deep-dive analysis across core SaaS and business performance metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, churn, expansion, pipeline, pricing, and product usage); go beyond the numbers to explain what's driving results and why it matters
- Partner cross-functionally with pricing, pipeline, and product teams to synthesize insights into cohesive narratives for senior leadership and board materials
- Partner with Corporate Development and FP&A leadership on M&A financial modeling, due diligence support, and integration planning
- Assist in building acquisition models and post-close integration tracking
- Manage and develop direct reports, including goal setting, prioritization, and individual development planning
- Contribute to the team strategy and lead improvement initiatives
- Set clear objectives, evaluate progress, coach, train, and instill a high performance culture with focus on teamwork, excellence and ownership for resolving issues
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to FP&A processes, systems, and reporting cadences to increase team efficiency and output quality
- Create a culture of inclusivity, recognizing the strengths that individuals bring to the team to promote engagement and development opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
You Have
- 10–12+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with meaningful time in SaaS or recurring revenue businesses
- 3+ years of people management or mentorship experience
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital is strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, LTV/CAC) and how they connect to financial statements
- Proven ability to build and maintain complex, driver-based financial models with limited guidance
- Strong executive communication skills — you can distill nuance into a clear narrative and present it confidently to senior leaders
- Experience supporting or directly contributing to board-level financial materials
- Exposure to M&A financial modeling or integration work
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with FP&A planning tools (Adaptive, Anaplan, Planful, or similar)
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-growth environments where priorities shift
