Job Title: Sr. Event Manager
Duration: 5-6 Months
Location: Bellevue preferred; can be in Overland Park (4 days onsite)
Description:
The Sr Events Manager will oversee the event marketing process including strategic planning, creative development, execution, measurement, and communication of such events (may be internal or external). This role will be responsible for developing and executing events that support brand, business, and communication objectives. The role will work cross functionally with multiple internal departments, properties, agencies, and senior-level leadership.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead strategic development and execution of major events 25%
Establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders 20%
Lead and manage event agency 15%
Prepare and present strategies and programs to senior leadership 5%
Establish key performance indicators, measure, and deliver results 5%
Oversee event budget 15%
Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed. 15%
Work Experience:
4-7 years Experience in developing and executing major events.
4-7 years Proven experience in creating and managing major high profile events to drive business and brand growth.
4-7 years Proven experience leading cross functional teams and agency partners.
