Senior Director, PMO
San Diego, CA. Direct Hire.
150-180k+
The Senior Director PMO is an on-site/hybrid position, reporting to the C-Suite. The ideal candidate will have a healthcare-related experience with RCM exposure and strong project management skills.
Key responsibilities include fostering a team-oriented and analytical approach to problem-solving; building trust and encouraging open communication; championing change; leading continuous improvement initiatives; ensuring accountability through post-implementation measurements; and advocating for Lean Six Sigma principles. Experience managing offshore teams and strong leadership skills are highly valued. The position involves overseeing a team of 8-10 product owners and project management staff, with occasional travel required in the initial months.
Responsibilities: The Senior PMO will manage product owners, and all PMS will report to them. The role may involve travel a few times per week in the first few months.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of project management disciplines
- Analytical and process-centric mindset
- Team-oriented problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience leading Continuous Improvement teams
- Strong advocate for Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt certified preferred, but Green Belt is acceptable)
- Offshore team experience is a plus
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team of 8-10 people
- Revenue Cycle Management and Continuous Improvement are critical
