They will develop and defend IP portfolios, support IP aspects of deals, and provide strategic guidance to create business value and ensure legal compliance.
The role involves leading a team of patent and trademark professionals, managing IP litigation and disputes, and collaborating with R&D, commercial, and legal teams.
Key responsibilities include IP strategy development, prosecution, lifecycle management, enforcement, and managing external counsel.
Ideal candidates will have a master’s or PhD in life sciences, 12+ years of IP experience, and expertise in biotech or pharmaceutical IP law, litigation, and portfolio management.
Travel may be required across multiple regions.
