Delivery of improved margins and innovative products developed in line with Business Development priorities.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr Director, Head of Product and Marketing - Brands will lead product development, pricing, and marketing and strategy for Kenmore and affiliated brands. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that combines strategic vision, operational rigor, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is a dynamic business leader with deep experience in multi-channel consumer product

environments, known for their ability to drive complex programs from ideation through execution. This role is responsible for partnering with channel sales and business development to ensure our product and market efforts complement the overall growth and profitability plans for the Brands business.

REPORTS TO:

CEO, Brands1021808BRRegular, Full-time Moderate (15-30%) JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops the strategy for the non-licensing products business in partnership with the CEO, Business Development, and Channel Sales
  • Builds financial models and business cases to evaluate strategic opportunities, required capabilities, investment needs, and expected returns
  • Leads product development with the product team and Engineering, translating business priorities and consumer needs into differentiated product offerings
  • Builds, communicates, and executes product roadmaps; coordinates cross-functional product launches and incorporates new launches into the business financial plan
  • Develops and executes new product and market opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, and advance the growth and profitability objectives of the Brands business
  • Identifies whitespace opportunities and leads product and channel expansion initiatives designed to maximize volume, market reach, and profitability
  • Builds and executes the profit-and-loss plan for the wholesale products business and monitors performance against revenue, margin, and expense objectives
  • Develops and manages a holistic pricing strategy; creates channel-specific discounting and promotional plans and uses consumer and performance data to optimize return on investment
  • Manages and expands relationships with OEM suppliers, primarily in Asia, and partners with suppliers to create mutual value, innovation, and new capabilities for the Brands business
  • Participates in the Brands Leadership Team and leads the marketing and product teams in a player-coach capacity across social, digital, ecommerce, and product development activities
  • Performs supervisory responsibilities, including, but not limited to: making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, conducting performance appraisals; and coaching and developing associates

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Over 10 years of related experience
  • Up to 25% travel
  • 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of experience in business strategy, product development, channel leadership, pricing, or related commercial roles within consumer goods
  • Proven ability to lead product development strategies from concept to execution
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and external stakeholder groups
  • Financial acumen with experience in margin management, pricing architecture, and promotional ROI
