Overview
The Sr. Director, Go To Market (GTM) Strategy is responsible for go to market frameworks that support consistent execution across regions and markets for the American Liberty Division. This role partners closely with American Liberty Division leadership and Go To Market leadership to translate business priorities into scalable go to market models, decision frameworks, and execution standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring go to market strategies are analytically grounded, operationally feasible, and consistently applied across the American Liberty organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead development and ongoing evolution of American Liberty Division go-to-market and route-to-market frameworks, including decision criteria, governance standards, and evaluation methodologies
Serve as a subject matter expert on go-to-market strategy, providing thought leadership, guidance, and problem-solving support across American Liberty Division initiatives
Establish and maintain go-to-market governance processes, including pre- and post-implementation evaluations, documentation standards, and escalation paths
Partner with American Liberty Division leadership to ensure alignment between go-to-market strategy, performance management programs, incentives, tools, and frontline execution expectations
Collaborate with Supplier Strategy and Integration, Commercial Advisory, and Commercial Effectiveness to support American Liberty Division initiatives such as supplier RFPs, structural assessments, and major commercial programs
Oversee analytical frameworks related to cost-to-serve, ROI, customer and channel segmentation, coverage models, and growth opportunities
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and scale go-to-market approaches while preserving appropriate flexibility for market-level needs
Support change management efforts associated with new go-to-market models, processes, and ways of working
Contribute to the development of operating norms, service models, and working relationships between enterprise, regional, and market partners
Lead, coach, and develop go-to-market strategy team members, fostering strong analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and enterprise mindset
Additional Primary Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business, finance, analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
810+ years of experience in go-to-market strategy, commercial strategy, consulting, analytics, or related commercial roles
Experience working in large, multi-market or matrixed organizations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading or supporting enterprise go-to-market or route-to-market initiatives
Strong analytical skill set with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders without direct authority
Experience working across customer, channel, coverage, or sales execution models
Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills
Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and managing multiple concurrent priorities
