Senior Director of Supply Chain

Steel & O’Brien is expanding rapidly—especially within our Data Center Cooling (DCC) business—and we’re looking for a Senior Director of Supply Chain to architect and lead a scalable, high-performance supply chain operation.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll design the operating model, establish SIOP discipline, and build the infrastructure needed to support national growth.

DCC is entering a pivotal phase of scale. Success depends on connecting demand with execution—seamlessly. You will lead the strategy, systems, and teams that ensure materials flow, inventory is optimized, and customers are served with precision.

What You’ll Own

  • Build and lead a best-in-class SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process
  • Oversee planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution
  • Design a scalable distribution and material flow network
  • Drive forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and customer service
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Sourcing
  • Lead process transformation and supply chain optimization initiatives
  • Build and develop a high-performing supply chain team

What Success Looks Like (Year 1)

  • Establish a disciplined monthly SIOP cadence
  • Improve demand visibility and material availability
  • Implement inventory policies and replenishment strategies
  • Strengthen procurement execution and supplier performance
  • Create clear logistics and distribution processes across locations
  • Build the organizational structure needed for continued growth

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Proven success leading SIOP/S&OP, planning, procurement, and inventory management
  • Experience scaling supply chain operations across multiple sites or networks
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data, performance, and continuous improvement
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build structure in a fast-growth environment
