Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Development Quality Engineer for a Contract with a client in Westford, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product design quality, driving risk management, and supporting verification and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Rate Range: $48/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Development Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and support design control activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables aligned with regulatory requirements.

  • Drive risk management processes, including FMEA and risk assessments, throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Plan and execute design verification and validation (V&V) activities to ensure product performance and safety.

  • Support test method development and validation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing process development, supplier qualification, and product commercialization.

  • Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field (Advanced degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in quality, R&D, or manufacturing engineering, with at least 2+ years in product development.

  • Strong experience in medical device quality systems, including design controls, risk management (FMEA), and regulatory compliance (FDA, EU MDR).

  • Proven expertise in verification & validation, test method development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product quality and safety.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $50.00 per hour
