Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Development Quality Engineer for a Contract with a client in Westford, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product design quality, driving risk management, and supporting verification and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle.
Rate Range: $48/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr. Development Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Lead and support design control activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables aligned with regulatory requirements.
Drive risk management processes, including FMEA and risk assessments, throughout the product lifecycle.
Plan and execute design verification and validation (V&V) activities to ensure product performance and safety.
Support test method development and validation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing process development, supplier qualification, and product commercialization.
Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field (Advanced degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in quality, R&D, or manufacturing engineering, with at least 2+ years in product development.
Strong experience in medical device quality systems, including design controls, risk management (FMEA), and regulatory compliance (FDA, EU MDR).
Proven expertise in verification & validation, test method development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product quality and safety.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $50.00 per hour
