Compensation range: $94,637.41 - $108,157.04 Annually
The base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.

Position Summary
Location: Santa Clara, WA (hybrid covering surrounding Bay Area)
Hours: Day shift, Monday - Friday
This is a senior level design consultant position. Works both independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop creative interior space solutions to meet customer needs. Includes a high degree of customer engagement, creative decision making, non-linear decision making and autonomous project ownership. Serve as leader, mentor, and pace setter for teams and colleagues. Will typically serve as the key or primary customer liaison and share customer management and project management responsibilities with their sales partners. Responsible for design discovery, co-creation, design validation, design documentation, and quality assurance. Involved in design projects and related tasks from inception to final installation.
Essential Functions: \u2022 Serve as client liaison. \u2022 Distill and analyze project information. \u2022 Manage multiple key projects and engagements. \u2022 Organize meetings with key stakeholders, as well as serve as customer point of contact. \u2022 Conduct product research and contact vendors for pricing and information. \u2022 Engage with customer to gather project information (surveys, interviews, data collection, observations) and to uncover customer challenges. \u2022 Engage in problem identification and solving. \u2022 Lead design discovery and co-creation sessions with project stakeholders. \u2022 Drive or lead creative engagements and workshops. \u2022 Specify furniture required per final furniture layouts and select furniture finishes. \u2022 Influence, inspire, and guide solutions and deliverables from supporting team members. \u2022 Produce and present design concepts to customers. \u2022 Produce furniture block plans, space plans, finish palettes, furniture specification, and installation drawings; create, revise, and plot design drawings. \u2022 Develop validation packages and spreadsheets. \u2022 Estimate budgetary hours and manage and monitor project hours. \u2022 Prepare design budgets and design proposals. \u2022 Responsible for individual tasks and duties as well as overall project results, outcomes, and influence on peer team members. \u2022 Serve as a mentor for other designers. \u2022 Assist in the on-boarding process. \u2022 Participate in or lead internal and external projects and process improvement initiatives. \u2022 Accountable for developing customer relationships and meeting customer expectations. \u2022 Attend industry events and peer networking opportunities. \u2022 Membership in industry professional organizations required. \u2022 Track and manage time entries daily.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Interior or Architectural Design, Associate Art's degree or equivalent from a two-year college will be considered, with at least 5 years related design experience. Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) or National Architecture Board (NAB) accreditation preferred. One or more professional certifications recommended: NCIDQ, CID, LEED AP, WELL AP, EDAC, 6 Sigma, PMI, etc.

CET Designer, 20/20 CAP, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign desired. \u2022 Full professional knowledge of commercial furniture products and systems furnishings. \u2022 Advanced knowledge of commercial furniture products and systems furnishings. \u2022 Advanced knowledge of ancillary, residential furnishings, and d\u00e9cor. \u2022 Advanced ability to apply Interior Design principles, to include texture, color, form, function, materiality balance, rhythm, repetition, proximity, symmetry, biophilia, cognition and perception.
Physical Requirements \u2022 Seeing, color perception, hearing/listening, clear speech, hand and finger dexterity, and ability to move distances within and between warehouses/offices, ability to get to project sites. \u2022 Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. \u2022 Judgement/decision making, analysis/comprehension.
Working Environment Generally, works in an office environment with moderate noise. Nature of work may require time spent out of the office at client location or other One Workplace offices. Reliable access to transportation required. Periodically works outside and may work around moving objects, dust, and dirt.
