Introduction
We are seeking a seasoned and motivated developer with in-depth expertise in Python, shell scripting, Linux, REST API, AWS RDS, Postgres, and MSSQL. The ideal candidate will have great knowledge of database security concepts such as native audit logging, encryption in-transit and at-rest, entitlements, and password vaulting. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must. The individual should be dynamic, a quick learner, an out-of-the-box thinker, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as within a team. Familiarity with scrum framework values and agile practices, including hands-on knowledge of Jira, Horizon, and CICD, is essential.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10 years of experience as a SQL Server Engineer or other database developer
- Extensive experience with Python and shell scripting
- Strong expertise with Linux, AWS RDS, Postgres, and MSSQL
- Great knowledge of database security concepts
- Prior work experience in the client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Guardium or similar activity monitoring tools
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure architecture
- Experience with PowerShell and Ansible
