With a global presence, the organization is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technological advancements and fostering a collaborative work environment.Position Overview:Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Cost Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is pivotal in ensuring accurate cost accounting practices and delivering insights to optimize financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cost accounting, manufacturing processes, and financial reporting and analysis.Key Responsibilities:Cost Accounting Management : Oversee and manage cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze cost reports to support decision-making by senior management.Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate budgets and forecasts for manufacturing costs.Inventory Control : Conduct regular reviews of inventory transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain inventory accuracy.Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance cost accounting processes and implement best practices.Compliance : Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Collaboration : Partner with production, engineering, and procurement teams to monitor and control costs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Proficient in ERP systems (Epicor or similar preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skill.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Compensation:$125,000 per year#J-18808-Ljbffr
