You will design, commission and support the electrical and electronic systems that control industrial laundry equipment, applying expertise in electrical design and multi-language software development for industrial controls. We seek an individual that works well both individually and as a member and leader of a project team.
This position is a Full-Time Hybrid role based in Lake Buena Vista, FL , and will report to a Manager of Ride Controls.
Responsibilities/You will:
+ Develop electrical and automated designs for interfaces to high volume automated washing, drying, sorting and folding systems.
+ Develop software architecture and coding for Embedded Systems, Rockwell and Siemens PLCs
+ Develop and troubleshoot software and hardware on motion control VFD and servo systems
+ Develop hardware and software design documents
+ Develop safety analysis documents used in safety critical applications
+ Develop and troubleshoot software for industrial Graphical User Interfaces
+ Develop and perform control system acceptance test plans
Required Qualifications/You will have:
+ 5+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls.
+ Proficient in PLC programming and C/C++ Experience designing and architecting control systems hardware to UL 508a, e.g. Motor Control Cabinets, IO enclosures, field sensors, cabling, etc.
+ Experience in AC and DC Drive programming and tuning
+ Experience in safety related control systems
+ Experience in software development planning and documentation
+ Experience in version control and collaboration software tools
+ Knowledge of industrial network protocols, AS-I, INTERBUS, ControlNet, Profinet, CIP and Ethernet IP
+ Experience in software testing and commissioning
+ Experience drawing, interpreting and marking up AutoCAD assemblies and schematics.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience working on industrial automated laundry facilities and related equipment.
+ Experience in the entertainment ride and show industry
+ Familiar with IEC – 61131 using Ladder Diagram and Structured Text
+ Experience in safety control system design using safety PLCs and safety devices
+ Experience in developing risk assessments and designs using IEC/ISO functional safety standards
+ Knowledge of I/O and Supervisory Network systems
+ Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic servo control systems
Required Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

The hiring range for this position in Lake Buena Vista, FL is $122,800.00 to $150,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
