The Sr Commercial Credit Underwriter is responsible for conducting due diligence and financial analysis on the bank's larger and more complex loan requests, including CRE, C&I, Residential Construction, and specialty lending types.
This role offers a hybrid or fully remote work setup, with candidates required to be located in Alabama and within commuting distance of Birmingham.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Commercial Credit Underwriting experience within a commercial banking environment.
Preference is given to those with a Finance or Accounting degree and formal credit training.
The position involves assessing creditworthiness, analyzing financial statements, and supporting lending decisions to ensure sound risk management and compliance.
