Job description:
Job Summary
Hartland is seeking a Senior Site/Civil Project Manager to join its team. This individual will play a key role in leading and supporting design, permitting, and client management on a variety of land development projects.
Job Responsibilities
Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use projects for public and private clients.
Work closely with leadership to develop growth plans and ensure effective staff utilization.
Lead site/civil efforts across a variety of project types, including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion and sediment control — from concept through completion.
Lead stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
Demonstrate experience across all aspects of land development engineering, including the integration of geotechnical and environmental disciplines.
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
10+ years of successful, relevant site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development across both small and large-scale projects.
Professional Engineering (PE) license.
Proven site/civil experience including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion and sediment control from concept through completion.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
Experience in technical and proposal writing, with strong attention to detail and sound analytical judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong multitasking ability and capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
