Qualifications:
  • BS In Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience, certification such as IPCS, CSCP, PMP
  • 5+ years experience in procurement and supplier management for Semiconductor equipment or similar complex electromechanical, optomechanical components and equipment
  • Familiar with Arena (change control) and NetSuite (ERP and PO processing)
  • Strong background in purchasing optical, photonics, optomechanical components such as lenses, mirrors, prisms, lasers, filters...etc.
  • Proven experience working with and supporting engineering teams in R&D and NPI
  • Resourceful and proactive in anticipating and resolving supply chain situations, negotiations, and planning and forecasting
  • Strong communication skills, problem solving skills

Responsibilities:
  • Support R&D product development and NPI build – process PO’s for critical parts and components needs
  • Work with existing suppliers – get quotes, negotiate pricing, schedules and deliverables
  • Support management in supplier selection and management – drive quality, cost, and delivery improvements
  • Work with R&D and NPI engineers to forecast procurement needs
  • Support ECO’s and BOM’s releases – ensure up to date accuracy
  • Support Quality Engineering – resolve nonconformance, SCAR, process improvement
