The Sr. Buyer will manage procurement and planning activities supporting company objectives with minimal oversight.
- Specializing in sourcing materials, machined parts, hardware, and processes, ensuring optimal inventory levels and lead times.
- Negotiate and execute purchase orders, verify compliance, and coordinate material requirements based on engineering drawings and customer needs.
- Maintain supplier relationships, evaluate supplier performance, develop new sources, and perform cost analyses to optimize supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, support process improvements, and manage invoice resolution.
- Provide leadership, training, and promote teamwork, while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.
- Qualifications include a BS in Business or Supply Chain, 4+ years of procurement experience (preferably in aerospace), and skills in negotiations, blueprint reading, and data analysis.
