    We are currently seeking an Sr. Business Analyst III - Legal Technology & Operations to join our legal team located in Atlanta, Georgia.

    The Sr. Business Analyst III - Legal Technology & Operations serves as the primary liaison between the Legal Department and Information Technology. This individual is responsible for optimizing legal business processes, managing legal technology platforms, supporting eDiscovery and information governance initiatives, and translating legal and regulatory requirements into scalable technology solutions.

    The role partners closely with Legal, Compliance, Security, Records Management, and Business Operations teams to design, implement, and support legal workflows, document management processes, contract lifecycle management solutions, litigation support platforms, and Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities.

    This position combines business analysis, application management, vendor management, and legal operations expertise to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure technology solutions effectively support legal and corporate objectives.

    Legal Technology Management

    • Serve as the primary IT owner for legal technology platforms including: LawVu, ProLaw, Relativity, Microsoft 365 Compliance Center, eDiscovery and Information Governance tools, Contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, Legal document repositories.
    • Manage application upgrades, configurations, testing, user support, and vendor relationships.
    • Develop application roadmaps and recommend technology improvements that align with legal department objectives.
    • Ensure legal applications integrate effectively with enterprise systems including Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, and identity platforms.

    Business Analysis & Process Improvement

    • Partner with attorneys, paralegals, legal operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
    • Analyze existing legal processes and identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization.
    • Translate legal and operational requirements into technical specifications and system solutions.
    • Lead process mapping, workflow design, requirements gathering, testing, and user acceptance activities.
    • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive solution design and adoption.

    eDiscovery & Information Governance

    • Support Microsoft 365 eDiscovery activities including:

    • Legal hold management

    • Content searches

    • Custodian identification

    • Matter management

    • Data preservation

    • Email and document collections

    • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Information Security teams regarding retention and governance requirements.

    • Assist in responding to litigation requests, subpoenas, audits, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.

    • Maintain processes supporting defensible discovery and records management practices.

    • Design and implement automated workflows for:

    • Contract review and approvals

    • Litigation matter intake

    • Other duties as assigned

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Information Systems, or a related field.

    • 5+years of business analysis, legal operations, legal technology, or enterprise application experience.

    • 3+ years supporting legal, compliance, regulatory, or corporate governance functions.

    • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
