This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise. The professional in this role sells and develops work with specific clients, ultimately leading to a “seller/doer” dual role, by understanding our client's challenges, building partnerships with them, and providing creative solutions to those challenges.Required:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering requiredProfessional Engineer License (PE) requiredMinimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience is requiredGeorgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) experience is a plusTransportation experience (bridge, highway, etc.) preferredExpert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to practically apply best practicesAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)Understands QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineeringAbility to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment; proven ability to lead a teamEffective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiencesProficiency with MS Office software requiredActive role in a professional engineering society/organization preferredJob Responsibilities:Coordinates contracts with the client, subcontractors, purchase orders, daily correspondence, and all other project-related documents.Responsible for all project financials, manages subcontractor payments, and communicates updates to the client, management, and project team during monthly project review meetings with operations.Develops a specific health and safety plan in coordination with the health and safety manager.Verifying that projects meet required QA/QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.Pay: $130K - $140KCompetitive salary and benefits: medical, dental, vision, life and 401KAt The Planet Group, we connect Engineering experts with opportunities that match their skills, goals, and ambition.
