Required Experience

  • 10+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform (highly preferred) or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM Templates or Bicep.
  • 10+ years of experience planning and executing migrations from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.
  • 10+ years of experience managing mission-critical enterprise environments, including Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR).
  • 10+ years of experience implementing Azure networking and security policies.
  • 10+ years of experience using Azure Monitor for monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability.
  • 10+ years of experience with vulnerability remediation and enterprise security initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

The Sr. Azure Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise Azure infrastructure while supporting cloud modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure, Terraform, enterprise networking, cloud security, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, configure, and govern Azure resources, networking, and security policies.
  • Deploy, maintain, and monitor mission-critical Azure infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.
  • Plan and execute migrations from on-premises environments to Azure.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred), ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Manage enterprise Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Configure and optimize Azure Monitor, Workbooks, Alerts, and observability solutions.
  • Partner with Architecture, Security, Development, and Governance teams on cloud initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and provide operational support for production infrastructure and cloud applications.
  • Utilize security tools such as Tenable to identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain cloud governance standards and Azure security best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
  • Present technical recommendations, risks, and cloud strategies to leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Perform network troubleshooting and support involving Azure networking, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity.
