Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Avaya Administrator with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Kennesaw, GA, Chicago, IL, Chandler, AZ, Richmond, VA, Jersey City, NJ, and Jacksonville, FL. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day administration of Avaya platforms on Avaya Aura (Communication Manager, Session Manager, AES)
  • Manage and maintain system configurations, provisioning, and user/admin changes across the Avaya environment
  • Lead and execute certificate management activities, including validation, renewal, and tracking (Venafi experience is a plus)
  • Support and maintain PBX/ACD configurations, including call routing, vectors, and adjunct routing
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance
  • Partner with internal teams to support business-driven initiatives and operational needs
  • Own and drive operational processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise (Bank of America–style) standards and procedures
  • Provide clear communication and regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain documentation and procedural guides for system administration tasks
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration while operating with minimal supervision
  • Identify areas for process improvement and take initiative to lead operational enhancements
Requirements:
  • BA or BS in Telecommunications, Data Communications or Computer Science
  • 8+ years of experience in Avaya/call center environments, with a strong focus on administration over engineering
  • Proven experience administering Avaya Communication Manager, Avaya Aura stack (Session Manager, AES)
  • Experience with certificate management (Venafi strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise processes and structured environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills (status reporting, structured updates, documentation)
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with tight deadlines
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to operate as a self-directed individual with strong ownership mindset


Pay Range: $59.72-$67.72
