Overview The AFH Area Sales Manager (ASM) plays a critical role as the field sales "general manager" of their market and leads the sales, people, and strategy for their geography. From a sales perspective, the ASM is responsible for delivering plan, sales growth, and specified AOP priorities. From a people perspective, the ASM will lead and develop a field sales team of Market Development Managers (MDMs) and Operator Territory Managers (OTMs). From a strategy perspective, the ASM is responsible for AOP planning as well as on-going analyses of their market trends to identify gaps in plan and execution. This role will lead the Heartland area (IL, WI, MO) And reports directly to the Central Region Director. Candidates must reside in the territory. Strong preference for this role to reside in Chicago. Responsibilities Lead the Heartland territory of approximately $115MM in revenue across all lines of business Develop field team sales associates across the territory Train MDM and OTMs to successfully manage their respective markets Deliver plan, grow volume, increase sales, and drive key initiatives Grow top foodservice accounts in the territory across all channels Wire with national and regional distributor leadership across opsites in the area to unlock growth and close voids Accelerate AOP Priorities: Potato Chip, Permissible, Macrosnacks, Meals Prospect to secure new business to meet region's new business target Provide field knowledge and competitive information to Region Director and leadership team Coach and develop team on critical selling and leadership capabilities Collaborate with PBNA AFH selling teams to unlock Po1 opportunities Right-size resources within the team to ensure adequate account coverage and service levels Support Region employee engagement and capability strategy to improve satisfaction, retention, labor relations, and diversity Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver Region objectives (HR, Finance, Supply Chain, National Account & Distributor Teams) Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,500 - $206,750. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
