Sr. Applications Engineer-Electric Vehicles

RESPONSIBILITIES:

     Lead technical support for customers by working closely with our global sales and field-deployed global technical service teams. 

     Be a trusted technical expert to our customers and establish and maintain positive relationships with key technical contacts and decision makers at our customers

     Own and drive the on-time completion of customer activities, including leading technical calls with customers, managing customer samples, and experimental support for the customer opportunities they own

     Understand and implement coating application approaches on a variety of customer samples in customers’ production lines with our field-deployed technical team

     Communicate technical advances internally with other members of the company and be able to engage customers on the details of products

     Establish relationships with vendors and contract manufacturers to expand capabilities and address customer needs

     Frequent travel to visit customers on site in the Bay area is expected, with additional international and domestic business travel (15-20%) expected.  

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

     Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering

     Experience supporting customers in the electronics industry is strongly preferred

     Experience with the application of coatings and manufacturing processes is preferred
