Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Applications Development Analyst for a Contract with a client in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate will support and optimize mission-critical IT/OT infrastructure by managing server environments, virtualization platforms, and Kubernetes-based applications to ensure reliable manufacturing operations.

Rate Range: $73/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Applications Development Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide operational support for mission-critical IT/OT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and manufacturing systems.

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes and Docker-based containerized application environments in production settings.

• Administer VMware technologies, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and hyper-converged infrastructure platforms such as Dell VxRail.

• Monitor system performance, resolve infrastructure issues, and support disaster recovery, backup, and cybersecurity compliance initiatives.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and corporate IT teams to implement new technologies, automate processes, and optimize system reliability.

• Document infrastructure configurations, automation scripts, and operational procedures while supporting continuous improvement and technology modernization efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise server infrastructure, including Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), virtualization, and IT operations.

• Proven hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and Docker, including deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and container orchestration in enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX), Windows/Linux server administration, networking fundamentals, automation, and mission-critical infrastructure support.

Pay Details: $73.00 to $75.00 per hour
