The pay range for this role is $120,000- $125,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Job Title: Clinical PCM & Bridge / Senior Oracle Health (Cerner) PowerChart Maternity & Bridge Analyst

Role Summary
Lead the design, build, integration, and optimization of PowerChart Maternity across labor & delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and newborn workflows, and own related Bridge workflows/integrations to adjacent systems, devices, and care settings. You will collaborate with clinical leadership (OB/GYN, Nursing, Pediatrics/Neonatology), Integration/Interface teams, and Informatics to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient perinatal documentation, orders, and device connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and optimize PowerChart Maternity (antenatal records, partogram, intrapartum/postpartum/newborn documentation, flowsheets, order sets/PowerPlans, care plans).
- Build and maintain MPages / Dynamic Documentation / PowerForms / Discern Rules aligned to clinical standards and safety bundles.
- Own and refine Bridge workflows (e.g., cross-application handoffs, interface bridges, workflow bridging to Nursery/OR/ED, device middleware integrations).
- Fetal Monitoring & Device Connectivity
- Partner with Clinical Engineering and Integration teams to implement and support fetal monitoring integrations (e.g., FetaLink or third party), including strip visualization/archival, annotations, alarm strategies, and downtime contingencies.
- Ensure reliable device association, data quality, and clinical usability in L&D settings.
- Interoperability & Interfaces
- Collaborate with interface teams on HL7 v2 (ADT, ORM/ORU, MDM), FHIR resources, and device data flows; coordinate message routing, ACK/NAK handling, and troubleshooting.
- Support CareAware/iBus and related device connectivity workflows.
- Clinical Workflow & Adoption
- Perform current/future state mapping for L&D, antepartum, postpartum, and newborn care; conduct gap analyses.
- Lead validation sessions, UAT, training, and go-live/hypercare; develop tip sheets and operational playbooks.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Implement clinical decision support aligned to perinatal safety bundles (e.g., hemorrhage, hypertension), documentation standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Establish robust change control, auditability, and policy alignment.
- Build/maintain Discern Analytics (DA2/Explorer) reports and dashboards; support operational and quality reporting (e.g., perinatal metrics, compliance).
- Manage code upgrades, Bedrock configuration, regression testing, and environment strategy.
- Provide tier 3 support, root cause analysis, and on call rotation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 7 10+ years hands-on with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium, including PowerChart Maternity in production environments.
- Proven design/build experience for L&D, antepartum, postpartum, and newborn workflows and documentation.
- Strong experience with MPages, PowerForms, Dynamic Documentation, Orders/PowerPlans, Discern Rules, Nomenclature, and Bedrock.
- Demonstrated knowledge of fetal monitoring workflows and integration/archiving within the EHR.
- Practical experience with HL7 v2 (ADT, orders/results, device data) and working familiarity with FHIR for maternal/newborn data.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with clinical stakeholders and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CareAware/iBus and device connectivity (e.g., VitalsLink) in L&D.
- Hands-on exposure to fetal monitoring solutions (e.g., FetaLink, Philips OBIX, GE/Novii, Monica, Mindray) and alarm/strip management strategies.
- Understanding of Bridge as used in your environment (e.g., integration bridge, workflow bridge between Maternity and Nursery/OR/ED, or cross-portal/engagement bridging).
- Reporting with Discern Analytics (DA2/Explorer); basic CCL/SQL a plus.
- Familiarity with adjacent Oracle Health apps: SurgiNet (C sections), PathNet (labs), RadNet (OB ultrasound), PharmNet (meds), FirstNet (OB/ED triage intersections).
- Exposure to interface engines (e.g., Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, InterSystems Health Connect) and troubleshooting message flows/logs.
- Clinical background (RN/BSN) in Women's Health/OB or strong Clinical Informatics experience.
- Relevant Oracle Health/Cerner Maternity/Orders/Device Connectivity certifications (if available in your market).
