Position Summary:
The Sr. Analyst, HRIS is a strategic and highly analytical role responsible for leading the optimization, governance, and advanced use of the Firm’s HR systems and workforce data. This role places a strong and explicit emphasis on data analytics, requiring deep expertise in HR data, reporting architecture, and insight generation to support leadership decision‑making.
The Sr. Analyst, HRIS acts as a trusted advisor to HR leadership, Finance, and the business by translating complex people data into clear, actionable insights, while ensuring system integrity, scalability, and continuous improvement across all HR platforms.
Essential Functions:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and workforce analytics for HR leadership and senior executives.
- Conduct in‑depth analysis across workforce areas including headcount, attrition, hiring, compensation, equity, promotions, performance, and succession.
- Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities within HR data and provide consultative recommendations.
- Establish and document HRIS standards, processes, and best practices.
- Lead the development of HR metrics, KPIs, and standardized definitions to ensure consistency and clarity across the Firm.
- Support complex, high‑stakes analysis for merit, bonus, promotion, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Assess downstream impacts of system changes on analytics, reporting, and business insights.
- Act as a thought leader for HR analytics, advising HR and business partners on data interpretation and use.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Compensation, and Talent teams on analytics‑driven planning and decision‑making.
- Assist with system design decisions, configurations, integrations, and upgrades to support firm growth and evolving business needs.
- Assist and partner with IT and vendors to manage enhancements, troubleshooting, and long‑term system roadmap planning.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, executive‑ready communication.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HRIS experience, with significant responsibility for analytics and reporting.
- Advanced expertise in HR data analytics, including complex trend analysis, visualization, and storytelling.
- Demonstrated experience building executive‑level dashboards and analytical models.
- Advanced proficiency in reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, UKG reporting).
- Strong understanding of HRIS data architecture, security, and integrations.
- Experience supporting compensation cycles, equity analysis, merit and bonus programs.
- Experience in a high‑growth, multi‑location, or complex organizational environment.
- Prior experience influencing senior leaders through data‑driven insights.
- HRIS, analytics, or data visualization certifications a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and integrity.
