We're seeking a Senior AI Delivery Manager / Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise AI initiatives for a nationally recognized retail organization. This is an opportunity to work alongside executive leadership and cross-functional AI teams, helping bring innovative AI use cases from concept through successful delivery
This is not a traditional project management role focused on budgets and schedules. Instead, you'll serve as the technical delivery lead, partnering with AI Engineering, Architecture, Product, Data Science, and business stakeholders to successfully deliver multiple AI initiatives across the enterprise.
AI Delivery Manager / Senior Technical Project Manager - What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the technical delivery of multiple enterprise AI use cases simultaneously (typically 3–4 concurrent initiatives)
- Partner with AI Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, Product, and business teams to drive successful delivery
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, remove delivery roadblocks, and manage technical dependencies
- Coordinate AI solution delivery from planning through production readiness
- Present delivery updates, risks, and progress to executive leadership
- Drive alignment across multiple business organizations including Marketing, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Store Operations
- Ensure AI initiatives maintain delivery momentum while supporting enterprise AI governance and best practices
AI Delivery Manager / Senior Technical Project Manager - What We're Looking For
- 9+ years of Technical Project Management, Technical Program Management, or Delivery Management experience
- Recent experience delivering AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science initiatives
- Strong understanding of the AI delivery lifecycle
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams without direct authority
- Comfortable communicating with senior leadership and executives
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and organizational skills
AI Delivery Manager / Senior Technical Project Manager - Ideal Experience Includes
- Generative AI
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- AI Agents / Agentic AI
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- AI Architecture concepts
- Enterprise AI platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, or similar
You do NOT need to be an AI Engineer or Data Scientist.
The ideal candidate understands how modern AI solutions are built and can effectively partner with highly technical teams to deliver successful business outcomes.
