Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate with experience developing, integrating, and verifying aircraft state monitoring and avionics applications for next-generation aerospace platforms.
Rate Range: $57/hour to $61/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr Advanced Systems Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Develop, integrate, and verify avionics software and aircraft systems monitoring applications for next-generation avionics platforms.
Create, analyze, and validate system and software requirements to ensure compliance with program and regulatory standards.
Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities using tools such as Simulink for system design, modeling, and verification.
Integrate and interface avionics applications with aircraft systems including navigation, air data, AHRS, GPS, FADEC, landing gear, and flap control systems.
Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and verification activities to ensure reliable and accurate system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development, technical reviews, and successful program execution throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
3+ years of experience in avionics systems, embedded systems, systems engineering, or aerospace software development.
Strong experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including system modeling and design using tools such as Simulink.
Experience with avionics systems integration, requirements development, verification, and interfacing with aircraft systems and sensors (GPS, AHRS, Air Data, FADEC, flaps, and landing gear systems).

Pay Details: $57.00 to $61.00 per hour
