Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate with strong expertise in model-based systems engineering and embedded avionics applications to support next-generation aircraft platforms.
Rate Range: $57/Hour to $61/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr Advanced Systems Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Develop and integrate avionics applications for aircraft state monitoring and next-generation platforms.
Perform systems requirements development, validation, and verification for avionics systems.
Design and implement model-based solutions using tools like Simulink and support ARINC 661 graphics development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate aircraft systems such as navigation, sensors, and control systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize system performance to ensure reliability and compliance with aviation standards.
Support testing, validation, and deployment of embedded avionics systems in line with program requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in avionics systems, embedded systems, or model-based engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise in model-based system design (Simulink) and avionics systems integration.
Experience with aircraft sensors, ARINC 661/Scade tools, and system verification for avionics applications.

Pay Details: $57.00 to $61.00 per hour
