Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate with strong expertise in model-based systems engineering and embedded avionics applications to support next-generation aircraft platforms.

Rate Range: $57/Hour to $61/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Advanced Systems Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and integrate avionics applications for aircraft state monitoring and next-generation platforms.

  • Perform systems requirements development, validation, and verification for avionics systems.

  • Design and implement model-based solutions using tools like Simulink and support ARINC 661 graphics development.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate aircraft systems such as navigation, sensors, and control systems.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance to ensure reliability and compliance with aviation standards.

  • Support testing, validation, and deployment of embedded avionics systems in line with program requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in avionics systems, embedded systems, or model-based engineering.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in model-based system design (Simulink) and avionics systems integration.

  • Experience with aircraft sensors, ARINC 661/Scade tools, and system verification for avionics applications.

Pay Details: $57.00 to $61.00 per hour
