Job DescriptionHoneywell's Anthem Integrated Flight Deck is a cloud‑connected, always‑on cockpit system that supports pilots across a wide range of aircraft. The system uses a flexible software platform capable of customization for passenger, business, defense, and general aviation aircraft.As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer in the Next‑Generation Avionics (NGA) group, you will guide the design, development, and implementation of Flight Display Systems and Avionics solutions for Anthem. You will collaborate with engineers, developers, and designers to create forward‑thinking solutions.ResponsibilitiesDrive system design, development, integration, and implementation of core Flight Display Applications on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements and specifications for core flight display applications.Employ Model‑based System Design methodologies to create innovative solutions.Support ARINC 661 development, utilizing Scade.Drive Systems/Software requirements development, validation, integration, and verification, ensuring highest standards.Create test cases based upon use cases derived from system and software requirements.Stay current with advancements in avionics technologies and industry trends to inform design decisions and enhance system capabilities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).6+ years of Systems Engineering experience, ideally in aerospace/avionics, display technologies, gaming, or related industries.Strong proficiency in systems engineering principles and processes.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Familiarity with avionics systems and/or display technologies.Experience with Simulink or similar model‑based design tools.Experience in complex system integration projects.Experience with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) I/O and scheduling tools (ESCAPE, PCT, HARMONIC).Knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, change management, and certification documentation.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.Business UnitThe Next Generation Avionics (NGA) group develops cutting‑edge avionics systems for a wide range of aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.BenefitsCompetitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, employee assistance program, educational assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and 12 paid holidays.U.S. Person RequirementsCandidate must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or be able to obtain an export authorization.#J-18808-Ljbffr
