Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology company, is seeking an Avionics Software Engineer to join their team. As an Avionics Software Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Avionics Systems and Integration Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, collaboration, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Avionics Software Engineer
Location: 21111 North 19th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85027 (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $75.73 – $81.03/hour
What’s the Job?
- Develop and integrate Aircraft State and aircraft systems monitoring applications
- Perform systems/software requirements development, validation, and verification
- Support integration of avionics applications on next-generation platforms
- Develop synoptics and graphical interfaces for aircraft systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and compliance
What’s Needed?
- Must be a US Person
- Proficiency in C++ and experience with Jira and Bitbucket
- Background in avionics systems or equivalent engineering field
- Experience with systems/software lifecycle (requirements, integration, verification)
- Familiarity with Simulink, Scade, ARINC 661, or aircraft systems/sensors (GPS, AHRS, FADEC, etc.)
