Position Summary This position is responsible for leading site-level financial operations within a manufacturing environment. This role oversees general ledger management cost accounting financial reporting SOX compliance and internal controls while providing financial leadership and business partnership to site operations. This is a highly interactive role that collaborates closely with Supply Chain Operations Planning and Site leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting strong cost control and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Close

  • Heavily participate in monthly quarterly and annual close process
  • Prepare and review journal entries reconciliations and financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Maintain integrity of the general ledger
  • Manage Intercompany transactions
  • Manage Leases Royalties Commissions credit card spend
  • Fixed Assets & CapEx
  • Manage Fixed Asset capitalization disposals tagging physical counts
  • Manage depreciation amortization
  • Manage capital expenditure process from initial request to capitalization
  • Manage all CIP activities
  • Taxes
  • Manage Corporate tax requests
  • Prepare and file periodic Sales & Use Tax
  • Prepare and file periodic City Business Tax
  • Prepare and file periodic Property Tax
  • Controls & Compliance
  • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley SOX compliance and maintain effective internal controls
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Ensure adherence to corporate and government accounting policies
  • Business Partnership
  • Partner with plant leadership to support budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
  • Serve as a financial liaison between Accounting and operational departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA or CPA a plus
  • 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience including manufacturing and cost accounting
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience with ERP systems SAP preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Pay Range: 100300 to 166900 annually
