The ideal candidate must also have a proven track record in winning enterprise level relationships and consistently achieving and exceeding assigned sales quotas.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage products through their entire lifecycle until product EOLDevelop strategic sales goals with exceptional execution to meet the sales targetQualify leads and create target lists of enterprise or data center accountsSeek potential customers (e.g., Corporate Customers, Value-Added Resellers, OEMs) through cold calling and follow-up customer visitsParticipate in marketing activities such as trade shows to generate leadsAbility to strategically position Supermicro's products and services in the marketDevelop customer relationships and maintain/manage accounts, expand existing client accounts for retention and potential growthWork with cross-functional teams to draft and negotiate various types of contractsManage day-to-day sales operationsNegotiate sales pricing, monitor orders, facilitate credit issues and negotiate sales returnsQualificationsBachelor degree in business, engineering or similar fields preferred2+ years of hands‑on experience with selling computer hardware solutions to data center or enterprise accounts (prior software or telecom sales will be considered) preferredSuccessful track record with credible cold calling and follow-up with key decision makersAbility to thrive both independently and in a team environmentDemonstrated ability in the following areas: pre‑call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling, call structure and control, time and territory managementStrong persuasive and negotiating skills; ability to polish words in verbal, written, and presentationExtremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple tasksExceptional management skill in time and territorySalary Range$84,000 - $112,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
