Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures to support business applications and data analysis. You will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and software developers to ensure efficient and secure data access across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

  • Create and maintain documentation of data flows and database structures.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide reporting solutions.

  • Ensure security of data and manage permissions appropriately.

  • Support database maintenance, upgrades, backups, and recovery procedures.

  • Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide support for production systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in SQL development.

  • Proficiency in T-SQL (Transact-SQL) or PL/SQL.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of database design principles and normalization.

  • Experience working with reporting tools like SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Understanding of data governance and compliance practices.
