Job Details

SQF Practitioner/Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee the quality of all products and services that our organization produces. Responsibilities include developing quality standards, conducting tests and identifying issues in the production of our products or services. Ultimately, will work with a team to ensure our final products meet our organization’s standards across the board.

Essential Functions
Include, but are not limited to the following:
Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
Overseeing the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF system.
Preparing the company for SQF certification audit.
Representing senior site management and ensuring the SQF system is effective
Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
Discuss issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports.
Make recommendations for improvement.
Create training materials and operating manuals.
Conducting product inspection if deemed necessary as well as evaluating data to determine the possible causes of problematic situations with the help of other departments as needed
Setting and enforcing standards for health, safety, and legal compliance.
Correcting problems when found by identifying resources, initiating a problem resolution procedure and corrective action plan when necessary
Interpret data and measure parameters as required to determine quality deviations and the causes of these deviations
Monitoring the progress of corrective actions when product defects are identified by confirming completion dates
Maintaining compliance, crisis management, continuous improvement, and building relationships with external parties.
Accurate and consistent documentation; documentation of all activities, facilities, equipment and instruction during manufacturing process to ensure that these items are in good condition before being distributed or sold to third parties

Position Requirements:
Job Experience / Requirements
At least High School Graduate
Minimum of 2 years working experience in a quality assurance role in the same field or industry
Knowledgeable and must understand the basic concepts on quality assurance, such as quality control principles, methods and systems
Able to communicate effectively with people, especially those around him/her, as well as with other departments to exchange information/data on existing issues that may affect the production process
Must possess good analytical skills to determine probable causes of product defects and determine appropriate corrective actions when required
Possess excellent problem-solving skills to identify potential causes of defects and to come up with corrective actions that will eliminate or reduce the defect risks
Ability to work under pressure and time constraints while still performing their tasks efficiently
Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and customers in a work environment
Strong organizational skills, especially those related to scheduling, organizing the workload, and prioritizing activities
Ability to work independently as well as cooperate with other departments if needed
Capable of handling complex, detailed and multiple tasks simultaneously to accomplish all the tasks efficiently
Must be able to follow up with management to ensure that products will be delivered on time and meet pre-determined deadlines
Possess strong leadership skills as well as good interpersonal skills to establish effective rapport with people around him/her such as teams, clients, customers and suppliers.
